Part of Javea coastline

The main beach in Javea is the sandy Arenal beach offering play areas for children, natural and artificial shade, small motor boat and skate hire, restaurants, cafes and ample parking facilities. There are also small coves like Pope, Tango and Grandella creek which are covered with smooth stones in unique and beautiful locations. Other coves and caves can only be accessed by boat or in a few cases on foot.

The Port of Javea is a fishing community which has been transformed over the years, with an architectural mix of modern buildings by the marina, which stand alongside quaint narrow streets, with whitewashed fishermans houses. You can walk along the coastline sampling the delights of the many bars and restaurants.

Javea is a 10 minute drive from the villa and is renowned for its capes, coves, and beaches. A natural, unique environment, with stunning beauty. Montgo natural park is the great landmark of Javea.  Approaching the area by road it is possible to almost drive to its summit. Discovering Montgo (elephant mountain) is an experience not to be missed, a winding footpath takes you to the summit 753 metres high. From here it is impossible to take in the whole view at once, from Penon de Ilfach in the South to the Segaria mountains in the north, along with the island of Ibiza. The area of 2000 hectares was declared a natural park in 1987, it has over 600 species of wild flowers, and a vast array of birdlife, from rare gulls to birds of prey. Granadella is Javea's natural reserve, on its hills stand the ruins of an 18th century castle, which can be reached by road, its spectacular gullies lead down to a small beach at the rear of the cove, which must be one of the most privileged scenes of Javea's coast.
